I tried this product and found myself lethargic and fatigued after using it. There is a synthetic compound in it used for stress, I can’t put my finger in the exact synthesized ingredient but no natural compound causes you to feel tired and drowsy when you wake up as thou you had taken barbiturates. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless you are looking to feel dazed and confused

I have to say this product is the best remedy I have come accross to treat symptoms related to stress and anxiety, not that I am in no way an authority on the subject, although that is the effect shown right of the bat and after months 3 or 4 I would say, one bit of advise avoid this capsules, while driving or operating heavy machinery or in the mornings when you need be sharp and clearly awake, specially, since it is so effective you will feel that calmness and relaxation related to vitamin B6 (brain cells repond to it) and B12 (body muscles respond to it). I have to share also that my mother takes one to get a sound sleep at night isn’t that funny, never though myself of that use for an anti-stress preparation like this. In my humble opinion, people that have some sort of nervous issues should use it to relief the negative symptoms related to anxiety in any form and of course after consulting their physician.

FIRST THOUGHTS: WHY AREN’T THERE ENOUGH PRODUCTS LIKE THIS ONE ALREADY?
One would think there are already too many B-complex, with something special added, products on the market. However, I have switched from the standard B-complex that everyone offers, and here’s why:
1]- This product contains 500 mg. of Vitamin C in EACH capsule.
2]- Each capsule of ‘Super Stress B Complex’ also contains 50 mg. of both Choline and Inositol as well as 25 mg. of PABA. Most formulas omit these or have them in small doses, except for the very expensive products.
3]- The doses of most other B vitamins are a ‘one-size-fits-all’ regime usually offered, such as B-50 or B-100. In essence, the basis for the formulaic constitution of ‘B-50′ or ‘B-100′ type products is motivated by marketing for comparison purposes by the vitamin makers, rather than what formulary is best for human health.
4]- Being in capsules, this product avoids the heating, steaming and pressing necessary to make tablets which does damage the potency of Vitamin C and the B vitamins. As an added benefit, capsules are more quickly and fully absorbed than tablets, and usally cost more.
BOTTOM LINE: EXCELLENT VALUE
While I do still like the B-50 product that Swanson offers, I now use this one because I can get a large dose of Vitamin C and a more useful mix of the B Vitamins, including some of the ones that are typically missing from generic products. This particular product is sometimes offered in ‘Swanson’s BUY 1 GET 1 FREE’ program which is how I buy it. I buy 3 and get 3 free which leaves me with enough for the entire family until they run the promotion again in 3-4 months.
